Yesterday

Yesterday, a year ago, something that I didn't know would affect me so deeply happened.. it sparked many emotional highs and lows.. and led to plenty of internal ups and downs.. I was captivated, elated, intoxicated, overjoyed, contented.. then I was distressed, agonized, depressed, tormented, dejected... Yet, I am willing to go through all these again even if I were to have known what await me.. No regrets what-so-ever..

Yeah, it sure was a crazy roller-coastery year.. I will heed what Dr Seuss said, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." and try not to fix things, but to move on with life..
