last 7 days..

what a crazy week it was last week..

Earlier in the week, I went to see an ENT specialist about that tumor under my right ear.. still waiting for the lab test results and my appointment for CT scan.. as it is a government hospital, it might take (quite) a while..

Then my sis and I went on a quick 3D2N trip to visit Universal Studio Singapore to celebrate the end of her 5th rotation.. she has 1 more to go and she will be "promoted" to a medical officer :) :) the trip was a mixed adventure with lots of minor irritants/incidents... anyway, I will be blogging about it over the next few days/weeks..

Finally, I got the result of my PhD application to Taiwan Universities.. Although I didn't get the government university that I wanted, I did manage to get into the Graduate Institute of Management Sciences of a top private university... This time round, I will be paying for my own tuition fees and living allowance since I didn't manage to win the TWN government scholarship.. but anyway, I am pretty sure that I will be able to support myself, first with my savings and then by working part-time/freelance.. :) :)

Still awaiting more details before I can share anything further, but nonetheless it looks like I am heading to Taiwan after all.. ;) ;)
