Ok I was only 25% correct.. Netherlands lost to Russia and Spain won on penalty shootout.. Like they say, the ball is round.. anything could happen and indeed it did..
So let's move on the semifinals...
Germany vs Turkey
No need to guess which team I will be rooting for.. ;) Just hope that Turkey's fantastic run will lose steam.. :P
Russia vs Spain
This is a real tough one.. Based on my gut feel, I think Russia might just edge out the Spaniards this time.. although they were beaten 4-1 by them in the earlier rounds, I think the Russians will be able to dig deep and find that extra fire to come out a winner in this semifinal clash..
