My sister just completed her first 4-month rotation today .. :)
When she first went to the surgical department, she was stressed (over the expectations and responsibility of being a doctor) and lost (over the procedures and paper works).. but soon she found her bearings.. and with her friendliness (unlike me.. :p ) and positive attitude and aptitude (like me.. :p ), her seniors and other Medical Officers soon took her under their wings.. they provided guidance and support, and had helped her regained her confidence..
Even though she has 5 more rotations to go, this is a milestone for her.. Before she starts her next rotation, she has a few days of paid-leave.. so we would be doing some shopping and CNY cookie-making these few days.. :)
Am so proud of her.. :)
