So will we be seeing multi-trillion projects/spendings/bailouts next?? A glimpse of a possibility.. US budget deficit to hit $1.2 trillon in FY2009
Just to put things into perspective, one million is 1,000,000 and one billion is usually meant 1,000,000,000 while one trillion is 1,000,000,000,000, although there is a different between long and short scales (as explained in Wikipedia).
So the governments happily tossing a few billions here and a couple of billions there, yet who is going to foot those millions/billions/trillions bills??? How did we arrived at this predicament??
