Europe 2009: Angels

Another thing that I love about Italy and France is the abundance of Angels.. or more precisely statues, paintings or sculptures of Angels.. I wrote about my love for Angels previously.. So I was ecstatic when I was surrounded by so many Angels..

Inside or outside of buildings.. standing guard, protecting..

Over doorways and arches.. watching over anyone who passes by..

On canvases and ceilings.. displaying emotions just like humans..

Outside shop houses..

On antiques clock..

And cartooned on posters..

Too bad I didn't stumble upon any tattoo parlors with nice tattoos of angel wings, else I would have gotten a pair on my shoulder there and then!! ;) :p
